AOD-9604
AOD-9604 is a modified fragment of human growth hormone (hGH fragment 177-191) with an additional tyrosine residue. It was developed to isolate the metabolic activity of growth hormone from its growth-promoting effects.
Mechanism of Action
Research suggests AOD-9604 may stimulate lipolysis and inhibit lipogenesis without affecting IGF-1 levels or insulin sensitivity. It is believed to interact with the beta-3 adrenergic receptor pathway.
Research Background
AOD-9604 was developed at Monash University in Australia and has been studied in both animal and clinical models for metabolic research since the 1990s.
